Popularly in English known as the Cluster fig tree. Indian fig or Gular fig, the other name of the gular tree is the Dumur tree. It is native to Australia, Malaysia, Indochina, and the Indian subcontinent. Fig is a deciduous plant growing up to 30 m tall. The bark is anterior. They are light green or greenish-gray. The leaves are oppositely arrange. The leaves are thick and elliptic. Figs grow in long bunches.
Gular Fig trees can be seen everywhere in the village. But this tree is not found in the city. No one plant a fig tree. In India, the dumur tree and its fruit are define as gular in the north and atti in the south. Gular Fruits are soft and sweet fruits. The fruit is small, and its cover is hard. If it is green when it is raw, it becomes yellow when ripe. The leaves of the fig tree are rough. Figs are not flowers. The fruit comes directly from the fig tree. The fruit can be eaten dried and ripe. This species grows in warmer climates.
